Category Inspection Points & Requirements Inspection Method Pass/Fail Comments Evidence Acceptance
Delivery
Product delivery The model and quantity of the STSs received by the customer are consistent with those in the contract. Visual inspection PASS
Consistency between the packing list and delivered products The packing list consists of the delivered products. The spare parts and accessories are complete and delivered with the STS. Visual inspection PASS
Overall STS
STS appearance 1. The enclosure of the STS is free of damage, dents, and cracks. 2. If there is a small area of rust, paint the area according to the user manual. A large area (0.5 m2 or above) of rust is not allowed. Visual inspection PASS
STS sealing The sealing rubber strips are intact and do not fall off. There is no crack in the sealing areas. Visual inspection PASS
Screen doors of the transformer room The screen doors of the transformer room are intact without deformation. Visual inspection PASS
Doors of low-voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) rooms The doors are closed tightly. No water or foreign matter is found in the LV or MV room. Visual inspection PASS
STS Installation The STS is installed at the specified position. Visual inspection PASS
STS stability The STS is securely installed in the right position without tilt or force around. The onsite foundation meets the requirements in the STS user manual. Visual inspection PASS
STS grounding The screws on the ground point of the enclosure are tightened and aligned with the marked lines. The ground label at the ground point is intact. Visual inspection PASS
Grounding of the transformer and doors of the container, LV panel, and MV room The transformer and doors of the container, LV panel, and MV room, as well as other accessible places, are grounded, grounding labels are in place, and ground cables are securely connected. Visual inspection PASS
STS grounding Measure the resistance between two ground points by using a ground resistance tester. Test inspection PASS
Damage or shifts of the components in the STS All components in the STS are free of damage, deformation, and visible shifts. Visual inspection PASS
Cables in the STS Cables in the STS are securely installed. Visual inspection PASS
Total capacity of the connected inverters The total capacity of the connected inverters does not exceed the rated capacity of the STS. Visual inspection PASS
Cross-sectional areas of input and output power cables The cross-sectional areas of the input and output power cables are within 30 mm away from each other as specified in the installation manual (pg 106). Visual inspection PASS
Connections of input and output power cables as well as communications cables All cables are secured to prevent disconnection or safety incidents. Visual inspection PASS
Bend radius of AC power cables The cable bend radius is at least 15 times the cable cross-sectional area (50-500 mm2). A small bend radius will result in excessive stress on the power cable, exerting negative impact on the device. Visual inspection PASS
AC power cables and communications cables reserved in the STS for the Smart Array Controller (SACU) 1. The AC power cables and communications cables reserved in the STS for the SACU are correctly connected to the SACU. The PG connectors at the holes for cables between the SACU and the STS are sealed. 2. Both ends of the reserved AC power cables and communications cables (if unused) are not energized (the switches in the LV panel are turned off or the cables are removed). The cables are properly protected and the PG connectors at the holes for cables between the SACU and the STS are intact. Visual inspection PASS
LV Room
LV panel stability The panel and internal components are secured reliably and securely. Visual inspection PASS
LV panel reliability of cable connections The internal cables are securely connected and aligned with the marked lines. Visual inspection PASS
LV panel grounding reliability The panel is well grounded inside. The screws on the ground point are tightened and aligned with the marked lines. The ground label at the ground point is intact. Visual inspection PASS
LV panel foreign matter There is no foreign matter such as tools and cable residue in the panel. Visual inspection PASS
LV panel bottom sealing The cable holes at the bottom of the LV panel have been sealed using firestop putty. Visual inspection PASS
LV panel copper bars The copper bars in the LV room of the STS are not loose, disconnected, or deformed. Visual inspection PASS
Cable labels Labels on incoming AC power cables of the LV panel are intact and legible. Visual inspection PASS
Connection of AC cables Adjust the torque wrench to a proper torque and rotate the handle to ensure that the screws tightened. Test inspection PASS
Screws are not loose. Screws for the incoming cables of the LV panel are tightened to the standard torque. Do not impose large stress on the screws. Max torque of 5 N·m.
LV panel switches Turn on and off the disconnectors, miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), and molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) in the LV panel. Test inspection PASS
The disconnectors, MCBs, and MCCBs in the LV panel can be turned on and off.
Transformer
Transformer enclosure The transformer enclosure is free of defects and paint peeling. Visual inspection PASS
Transformer enclosure grounding The screws on the ground point of the enclosure are tightened and aligned with the marked lines. The ground label at the ground point is intact. Visual inspection PASS
Transformer sealing Check all sealing rings of the transformer, including the seal of the transformer box, oil level meter, oil temperature meter, heat sink, oil drain valve, butterfly valve, and tap changer. Test inspection PASS
Transformer pressure release valve The clamping plate for the pressure release valve is removed, and the actuating strut of the pressure release valve is in the normal position. Visual inspection PASS
Transformer gas relay There is no gas in the transformer gas relay (gas needs to be released if any). Visual inspection PASS
Transformer butterfly valve The butterfly valves on both sides of the gas relay are open. Visual inspection PASS
Transformer oil temperature indicator (OTI) and winding temperature indicator (WTI, if any) The appearance of the OTI and WTI (if any) is normal, the pointer indication is normal, and there is no foreign matter in the watch face. Visual inspection PASS
Transformer oil level meter 1. The oil level meter can be observed without obstacles. 2. The indicated oil level is in accordance with the oil level-oil temperature curve of the transformer. Visual inspection PASS
Transformer dehydrating breather Before the STS is put into operation, the dehydrating breather is properly installed. The dehydrating breather (common model) appearance is normal and intact, and the color of the silicon gel is normal. If the color of more than half of the silicon gel is abnormal, replace the silicon gel in the dehydrating breather. Visual inspection PASS
